It is rare when attending an event to receive the amount of compliments that I received on this dress because there are so many really beautiful gowns that are created in SL but THIS gown by Mohna Lisa Couture sets the standard above what is the norm for gowns in SL. I could have gotten an inflated ego from all the compliments but I knew it was the gown that was the reason eyes were turned to me. The glittery train, the attention to details, the jeweled accents all combine to make this gown exceptional if you have not been to Mohna Lisa Couture for a gown, take my advice and go now, don't wait, but be prepared for a lot of compliments!

Tyra

Hi everyone, I am back after some RL surgery and work overload! I was anxious to post this look, because I loved the Tyra skin Natalie of Deesses dropped on me and I had a little fit of pleasure over Kallisto Destiny's  new Drift skirt. This fall look is perfect for this time of year where I am, it's not cool enough for a something very warm, and just warm enough you don't want to be all covered up. The old SG denim shirt paired with my autumnal colored tank from fri.day in pumpkin is perfect for the weather. My Leverocci hat in case the sun does get a bit bright is a great accessory along with my Maxi Gossamer Jewelry. I love this look and it is a great transition outfit for the seasons!

A Little Blue

A little touch of blue with some brown, one of my favorite combinations. My friend Kallisto Destiny, already a superbly talented photographer has started a boutique line of mesh fashion and I am in love with what she has come up with, this vest is one of my favorite items of her DRIFT line of fashions and I know I will be wearing this a lot, I have paired it here with my favorite trousers from CELOE but I know I will also be wearing it with a pencil skirt in the future. The touch of blue keeps things from becoming too plain and lends itself perfectly to my MANDALA accessories. The EMO-TIONS hair, one of my newer favorites along with my MON TISSUE openwork wedges which I wish I had in my RL closet! Love this outfit, and I am going to have a hard time taking it off!

Vintage Fair 2012 Bombshell

Are you excited about the opening of Vintage Fair 2012 yet? I sure hope so, there are so many incredible things that I can't share enough! Check out this sexy look from Zibska and Vanity Hair! The leopard print high-waist swimsuit from Zibska was perfect to pair with my Vanity Hair appropriately called "Bombshell", both were created for Vintage Fair. This is a fun look, with a pretty red lipstick and matching nails, my N-Core shoes, I am a 60's beach blanket bingo starlet waiting for her close-up! Artilleri is also taking part and this great sun-lounger and the sunglasses are both available at the Fair and the main Artilleri store. Ok, I am going back to enjoying my time on the beach and sipping my lemonade while I look all 60's fabulous! Now go, get to the Vintage Fair and enjoy!!

SoliDea FoliEs for Vintage Fair 2012

I am so excited by everything at this years Vintage Fair, the designers have all done a wonderful job creating some great items for the event, and  Mila Tatham of SoliDea FoliEs has gone above and beyond in creating some absolutely breathtaking dresses for the event! The dress I am showing you is one of my new favorites and I just love wearing this dress, The sheer bodice, cap sleeves, belt and hat are all wonderful details that add to the vintage appeal of this dress. everything you need to complete this outfit comes with it down to the gloves, all I had to add was some jewelry and shoes! I choose Vanity Hair to complete my look and headed over to a great vintage sim to shoot this, if you have not visited the 1920's Berlin Project you should right after you go shopping at Vintage Fair 2012!

Vintage Fair Hamptons Girl

I bet you thought everything I was going to show you from the Vintage Fair would be black or white based on my previous posts, but there is color there and I am not immune to it! Just wait, there is so much more to come but right now have a look at Kungler's cuteness called the Loulou dress, you should add to your shopping list. Check out the most adorable hair by Vanity Hair called "The Hamptons" the color change headband I am in love with, I can have any color I want! I have to say a huge thank you for Tabata for making my Vintage hair dreams come true! I love this 60/70's feel and look of this outfit and Plato at Percent had just the setting for me, the new 70's Retro Skybox made for Vintage Fair and the Karl chair that is a great vintage piece of furniture and has some great reading and drinking poses in it, you can check it out at Vintage Fair so you can not only dress the part, you can live it!

Vintage Fair Elegance

If you thought I was done with Vintage Fair 2012 you are mistaking! There is SO MUCH GREATNESS!!! I could go on and will go on and on! This post brings you another Molichino dress called "Jaci" and OMG! I am so in love with this dress! It comes in an array of colors and I chose the color snow because it just screamed elegant. So far this has to be one of my favorite dresses in my inventory, It's a beautiful mesh dress with a lace overlay and so breathtaking. Eclectica is also at Vintage Fair and you must check them out for some great Vintage pieces to add to your jewelry box. I also can not say enough about Vanity Hair for Vintage Fair, this is the first of three that I will show you and I am in love with all three! The hair is called Cohimbra and it will be one of my new go to updos. If you haven't had a chance to pop into Slink and check out the glitter peeptoe shoes, you really should, they are to die for. A Vintage Fair 2012 Femme Fatale

The Vintage Fair 2012 previews are rolling in and I was thrilled to grab this Molichino dress called "Jules" the moment I saw it. The 20's inspired dress is mesh with flexi ruffles and move beautifully when you do, it comes in a range of deep rich colors and is so feminine I hated to take it off. I added to this dress Ingenue's Gatsby shoes which are available in their store and at the Vintage Fair and I really liked they have the feel of that Gatsby era without being to clunky. The necklace and earrings are a beautiful set in platinum by Axiom called Harlequin created for Vintage Fair and it's lovely and intricate a set I know I will wear often. I love doing my photography and Cheerno's Femme Fatale pose set for Vintage Fair had me very excited, some really great poses that are unique. Don't forget to mark your calendars for the Vintage Fair opening on August 4th! You will really want to be there!

Vintage Fair Rocks the 80's

Vintage Fair 2012 opens on August 3rd and if you were thinking only Victorian to 50's type fashion you would be mistaking, there are some pretty awesome fashions that date up to the 80's and this outfit by Lush is one that is a lot of fun! An homage to Pat Benatar the outfit consists of a earrings, zebra fur top, red belt and black leather pants that make the look very much an 80's girl rocker, but still could work for a great party in the present. I added Emo-tions Anna hair in black to stay in keeping with the Benatar feel and I love the Izzie's 80's round nails that come with a hud for all those fun 80's colors! Fishnets and red stilettos from N-Core, Mandala's zebra fur bangles and a black heart necklace from Ryca and I am ready to rock it! HISpose "Love me NOT..."

When Sixx dropped this pose on me, I knew just where I wanted to shoot it and if you don't know about Sixx Yangtz of HISpose, he is a incredibly talented pose maker that has a line geared toward the guys but can most definitely be stolen by the girls! HISpose newest release is entitled "Loves me NOT..." It's such a great pose when it ended up in my box, I shot it right away, my outfit is just what I was wearing at the time knocking around home but it is one of my favorite newer dresses. The Seaside Sundress by Mon Tissu is a beautifully made mesh dress that comes in a variety of colors, I of course have the black one. (I really need to get out of that box more often, but I love black!) A simple pair of flats and simple jewelry called Sweetest by Argrace and I have an outfit that is easy and relaxed. The hair is a Hair Fair find that I just love, it has summer written all over it and I was able to capture this shot the way I wanted thanks to my Garden of Dreams skybox called The Field.

Mohna Lisa Couture Erotica Love

There are a lot of gorgeous dresses in SL and I admire and  love so many of them but rarely does my mouth literally drop open when I see a dress that just completely floors me, but Mohna of Mohna Lisa Couture has done just that. This absolutely stunning dress "Erotica" is the newest edition to the Mohna Lisa Couture line and he has just released three new version of the dress, Black Cat you see here,  a racier more see through version called Black Cat Nude, and a beautiful Lipstick Red version. You won't see me adding a lot of accessories here, because the dress just doesn't need them, a lovely pair of earrings and for me some pretty vintage hair and the look is complete. This dress is drop dead sexy, elegant and classy all rolled into one, if you want to stop someone in their tracks, go get this dress and wear it, I promise, you will not go unnoticed and jaws will drop in your wake.

Sapphires

Vero Modero has come out with an exquisite gown called Sapphire in Pink. This gown is breathtaking with a bodice covered in pink flowers, an fluffy skirt, this elegant confection is the epitome of femininity. In trying to decide what jewelry to wear with this gown I tried several items but this evidently was determined to be a theme of sapphire because the set I settled on and like the most with it was Finesmith's Radiant Anna Sapphire MVW 2012 set. It's a beautiful set with an additional headpiece you don't see pictured here but trust me it, beautiful.

VoguE Color Fun

I think the summer has me thinking color because when I saw this dress at VoguE I just had to have it! Talk about fun and flirty and colorful! All I can do is smile when I have this dress on, it's just so darn cute! The purple stockings it comes with contrast in a fun way with the blues and yellow of the dress and the Bliss Mio hat add a nice fun touch, my Pixel Mode Baby T's were the shade of yellow I needed to make my feet happy and you can't go wrong with Finesmith jewelry, I LOVE colorchange anything and the Chakara jewelry set gives me sooo many options for colors and color combinations I could spend hours playing with it. So I have a suggestion for you, go to VoguE and shop and have fun, Zaylin has created some beautiful items for your SL closet, from formal to causal, I bet you find something that is just right for you!

Midnight Rose

I returned from a vacation this week and was thrilled to find Vero Modero's Black Series available and was even more thrilled when I put on this dress from the series! It's called Midnight Rose and it's a lovely gown that will make you want to have your back to everyone as much as facing them as the roses down the back of the gown are just stunning! I know as a blogger and stylist we want to style things up to the max but this dress is so stunning I really wanted to keep the accessories and hair minimal so that the dress can speak for itself. Bliss Couture's AddisonLynn hair, Finesmith's Aphrodite bracelet and ring and Caroline's black pearl stud earrings keep things elegant and simple. I shot this in Tableau Vivant~ Prop art ~ The Darkest Nights photo prop that I picked up at the Fairy Tales event and just love it, you will see it again in the next post when I share with you another dress from Vero Modero's black series, a dress I know you will also want to head straight to the store for! Garden Party

My go to color when shopping is always black, I have to force myself not to buy whatever new item comes out in a color, which is odd since I actually do love color and lots of it. When I got this dress from Vero Modero I was thrilled, the colors, the feminine style all screamed summer girly girl! What's even better it comes with a sassy pink hat that I didn't picture here because they head band in the Lelutaka hair just went so well with the dress that I had to show it. The dress is simple, flirty and moves when you walk, if it was a RL dress I would so be twirling in it! The glitter peep toe shoes from Slink I am also in love with, they were easy to match to my skin with the HUD and Slink's ankle blenders make perfection easy to achieve. If you haven't checked out Vero Modero's summer line, you should, it's a wonderful departure from black.

Voluptia Coerce Corset

My friend Gina loves vintage and has started her own blog, ( you will find her link in to the right) she messaged me the other day to get me to shoot her in her new corset from VOLUPTIA by Lady V. Well I shot the photo and fell in love immediately with it, and when the Coerce corsets landed in my box I was in Gina's box asap and telling her let's do this! Gina of course was styled and ready to go and how pretty she looked! We are both wearing the Coerce Corset, I am in the purple and Gina wears the Jade and the detail on this corset, the photo does not do justice, the lace inset, the ruffles of the sleeves, the c-string panties, all make for a very sexy presence! Audrey is Smoking!

So Linc's and my one year anniversary came along with my birthday and being the amazing man he is he contacted Ramses at Egoisme, they talked and Ramses graciously made the beautiful suit you see above called Audrey in a color for me that I am not showing but absolutely love. One reason I do is because the dress itself is really just fabulous and would be in any color but it comes in classic and always beautiful black, so I am sharing that one with you dear reader and if you want something that is vintage class you need this outfit, It comes with the hat and gloves and is mostly mesh and just beautiful. Sands Through the Hour Glass...

Fairy Tales in 2012 is an event that I so fell in love with, there isn't anything at the event that I don't like, I would have even purchased stores sets if they had been for sale. Well, I did do some inspecting and ended up purchasing some things :-)
Once of the items I did purchase from the event was this skirt {SMS} Fairy Tales Print Skirt Forest MESH and I LOVE IT! I paired it with my GIZZA Lola blouse in black and was nearly giddy with excitement of how great pieces just look fabulous all on their own, even before you add accessories. So a FINESMITH touch with jewelry and I am a happy and stylish girl! Oh and GIZZA has an amazing dress at the Fairy Tales event go find it and BUY it! I will try to show you that here very soon! Vero Modero Leylak Gown

Vero Modero has created a lovely mesh gown that I am sharing with you today. It's flow-y and romantic with the addition sheer prim attachments and very sexy with the low dipping, belly revealing neckline. I chose to wear the soft blue version and I really think it's quite pretty. I added Emo-tions windblown III hair specifically for the photo but the Donna Flora jewelry,  fit perfectly with the romantic feel of this dress, the diamond flowers with the pearl centers complimented it quite well. CHIC² Part III Diamond Cowgirl

OK, I am telling you if you have not been to the CHIC² event you really have to go, there is something for everyone! I am in love with this dress from Tomoto, it comes in black and pastels and the leggings underneath are so cute! Its sweet and versatile, I had this dressed down as you see with NoLabel Cowboy Boots and Indi Cowboy hat but earlier that day I had paired it with my diamonds, Maitreya Gold Foxy heels and an updo and I was still rockin it. The set this photo was taken in is also part of CHIC² and the ring and earrings I am wearing in this photo are too, you can't see them very well but trust me, you do WANT these. Seriously get to the event, you'll be glad  you did.

CHIC² Part II

CHIC² opens in just a few hours and I hope you are planning on heading over there for some great exclusive items. Today I want to share with you this cute little dress, the dress is Elemiah Design - Youpi and ok honestly when I saw it at first, ok sure it's cute nothing to write home about but then I started to really think about it, and when I started to put a look together this little dress really started to grow on me, Now I have walked around in this outfit all day and I am feeling pretty damn cute. Also at CHIC² one of my FAVORITE pose/prop makers Evangeline Cortes has made a FABULOUS set called Display Window and come in three versions, this one is the modern version but there is also a vintage and minimal, the cubes and both mannequins have poses in them and I am so loving this! You need to get to CHIC's birthday celebration and make sure you have plenty of Lindens!

This month CHIC will be two years old and to celebrate CHIC is holding the  CHIC² event. Some really great designers have created some wonderful items to celebrate CHIC'S birthday, and I am lucky enough to get to show you some of these great items, to start with, two items from this event, the !je suis....aveugle diamond studded blindfold which started this outfit and so many ideas ran through my head on how to showcase this great little blindfold,but  the Valentina E. I Don't Think So

Do you sometimes just have those moment when you get to the point that people can't make you do anything you don't want to do and you are not in the mood for anyone's attitude? When that happens you need an outfit that says take a number cause it's not your turn? Well for me, it was dig in my closet pull out my Chantkare summer dress in black add Vero Modero leggings and some kick ass and take name boots from Gos a few accessories and an attitude that says "No, I dont think so, not today" to drama and craziness. I actually like this outfit a lot, I have an extreme fondness for two colors, always have, purple is one and black the other and black was definitely the way to go this time. Even if you aren't having a don't mess with me day, this is a great outfit for just being cool.

Enigma Dress & oOo Poses

I had the privilege of receiving the oOo poses made for the Culture Shock event and I have to tell you, if you have not got them yet.....GO GET THEM! I shot so many variations of this outfit with those poses and I had a really hard time picking which one to process and edit because I LOVED all the poses! I am so very addicted to poses and there isn't anything at oOo I don't like. The dress I am wearing is another Wildchild & Muse dress called Enigma in Blue Butterfly that I had great fun styling, I had been just waiting for something I could put with this Lode Parrot hat and the pop of yellow with the blue just made me smile. I am a Chop Zuey addict and it almost never fails I can always find something that works with an outfit there. N-Core Cherie booties in blue and Mon Tissu yellow tights and I am a bright and happy girl!

Venezia

I stated in my previous post that I picked up a few things at Wildchild & Muse one of them was this colorful outfit called Venezia. I love the bright colors, you really can't feel gloomy in this dress, it is open on the front to reveal cerise capri pants along with a matching bow to highlight the skirt. The outfit comes with the neckpiece and also armbands that I did not wear in this photo. Paired with Finesmith earrings, Chop Zuey rings, Maitreya shoes that were the perfect color, I was set to take on the world in a colorful way!

Wildchild and Muse

I went shopping today, I have a weakness for gowns, funny thing is I don't get to wear them that often as I am such a hermit I don't get out much for something that requires an evening gown, regardless I do LOVE a great gown, this WILDCHILD & MUSE gown I instantly fell in love with, the plaid is reminiscent of a scottish plaid, but the swirling discs have sort of a art deco feel so I pulled from that and paired it with DONNA FLORA Deco jewelry set in black, updo for the hair and viola! I am ready to go....where I am not sure, I will have to search for an event, but even if I just end up sitting around my house in this I will feel like all eyes would be on me!

Cold Logic Love

I admit I am a huge fan of some of the new mesh clothing, even though some things just never seem to work for me in them, namely boots and capris as my calves always are not aligned with them and I would have to create stick legs for them to work but the dresses, skirts and tops are some of my favorites, COLD LOGIC has so many things I just love and this recent dress, Vergara is one of them.  I felt good the moment I put it on, added my LAGO jewelry and LELUTKA Audrey hat and I knew I felt just like a lady who lunches, now to round up some more ladies and we can go impress all the businessmen on their lunch breaks!

Spring has Sprung

Easter Sunday I was thinking back to my childhood how Easter always meant a new dress, new shoes and an hat to top it all off. Later on that morning I was chatting with my lovely friend Coco and of  course I asked her about Easter hats and she mentioned she had a spring hat she was planning to photograph and I had not purchased my SL Easter outfit as of yet so I asked her to show me what her new spring outfit looked like, and of course immediately thought ohhh two for one! So I went shopping, got my ensemble together and asked Coco to come pose with me, which she graciously did. So here you have Coco looking bright in her SHIKI dress and GIZZA summer hat and me in my LAVIERE spring dress and LODE Narciss hat. I enjoyed very much getting to pose with Coco and I thank her for allowing me to highlight her style here on my blog!

Purplemoon and Chop Zuey

I was doing some spring shopping the other day and popped into PURPLEMOON and found this mesh dress called Bed if Roses and I sort of fell in love immediately with it. I love a pink/green combination and the colors made me feel happy and ok, styling wise pretty simple since it's not a mix and match outfit, throw on a dress, add accessories and you are good to go, how simple is that? N-CORE had the perfect shoe, a nice wedge not too dressy not too casual, Jewelry from CHOP ZUEY and yes I know I wear a lot of things from there but it's great jewelry and I can always find something that works! This dress comes in several colors and to be honest I loved all of them, I may have to head back and grab a couple more to add to my closet!

MyDear Hygia and Elymode

The weather is turning warm, I am feeling the need for a vacation and the beach seems like the perfect choice. I really do love so much of the new mesh items designers are coming out with and Elysium Eilde of ELYMODE is no exception, her new Jennifer set is the perfect tropical vacation outfit and I tried this look with MYDEAR Hygeia skin and wasn't disappointed in the least. I am very happy to have this skin added to my inventory of skins for modeling. I would suggest you go try the demo, you might just be as pleased as I was! New TRUTH hair a couple of accessories and I am on a virtual vacation so I want to feel the sand between my toes, no shoes just SLINKS new mesh rigged feet! If you need me I will be ordering a fruity drink with an umbrella at the bar.

Balloon Pop!

I tossed this VERO MODERO dress on the other day because it was easy to wear, not a lot of styling involved because the dress stands on it's own merit, it's funny sometimes the thing you spend the least amount of time thinking about is occasionally the most successful, I got so many compliments on this outfit I had to blog it! I really can't feel down in this dress, it's a happy dress. The mesh piece lines up perfectly with the alpha which I am finding is not always the case in mesh clothing so this makes me happy, the MSTYLE shoes with the pink pop of color made me smile, it's the little things that count! Bold dress, bold jewelry so a trip to my LAGYO folder and toss on my favorite CHOP ZUEY ring set and pull my hair up with FRI.DAY'S Tatum hair which I have loved since I got it ages ago and I am set. CHANTKARE!

I popped into the CHANTKARE reopening to check out the new shop and the latest releases, and I must say I was not disappointed in the least! The build is lovely, the new releases breathtaking and Applonia Criss was greeting her customers and answering questions and being in general a lovely hostess. Devine Hunt was in store modeling this dress I am wearing and I fell in love immediately with it. Sexy and sophisticated I was thrilled to add it to my Second Life Closet. This dress is called Mugli and it's a great one to add to your wardrobe, I forsee myself mixing and matching this dress with other items too. I added one of CHOP ZUEY'S newer releases called Tiger Totem, BAIASTICE accessories and AMACCI'S Rina Hair, I must say I may have to find an event to go to, this is just to good to waste standing around in front of a camera!

More Mix and Mesh

I had to add one more post with items for the Mix and Mesh Fair. I fell in love with this outfit the moment I saw it, I would so wear this in RL. It's classy, bright and just right to brighten things up. The MOLiCHiNO halter and skirt are definitely new favs in my wardrobe and I am going back to get all the colors. I pulled out the M*A*ii*K*I  belt from my inventory, it gets lots of use as it's a great basic added the CELOE pumps that I adore and CHOP ZUEY, always has perfect jewelry to go with something this elegant, thank you Belle! Mix and Mesh Spring Fair

I went to the Mix and Mesh Spring Fashion Fair and I was not disappointed. I picked up some really cute things there and I am looking forward to wearing them all. Today I am featuring a really cute top and skirt from RICIELLI, I love the bright combo of orange and pink. The only issue I have not enjoyed dealing with when it comes to mesh is sometimes the alpha doesn't match up perfectly with the item worn, but it's getting better the more designers are working with mesh. I added a few accessories to this outfit and I was good to go once I pulled out my pink PAPER COUTURE platforms. I was bright, cheerful and really happy with my new mesh outfit!

Casual Sunday

It's Sunday, and I am out running around the grid, doing some hunts, a little shopping and generally just taking it easy with my man. Now I know some people would say that's no excuse for not being dressed like a supermodel but guess what? Even supermodels wear jeans and tennis shoes and kick back and relax! Sometime heaven forbid they go out without make-up! *GASPS! Seriously there are days you just don't care about styling to the nines. A Walk in the Woods

Today's post is all about looking good even when wandering the woods getting some fresh air and exercise,
The way to do this is by tossing on VERO MODERO'S new trench coat in a jaunty red plaid along with the skirt that comes with it and adding a few necessary items to make the outing a success. A must have is the new GOS Triumph boots, and layering is key to staying warm so COCO'S long sleeve sweater and CELOE'S cardigan in tamarillo does the trick and can't forget to keep that head warm with MAITREYA'S Sasha hair.
So now that you know how to dress, go outside and play in the yard!

Another Festival of Sin post, this one highlighting the fun poses from Long Awkward Pose or LAP as it is affectionately known. My second post for the Festival of Sin features an outfit from ELYMODE. This sexy ensemble comes in a variety of colors but I chose to shoot the red version. Elysium named this set Lussuria and I think it's quite sexy with the see through top and short skirt. I added other items created for the Festival of Sin such as CAROLINE'S Tangled Mess necklace, MINA Moriko hair and ELYMODE eye makeup in dark chocolate. Festival of Sin Preview

The Festival of Sin opens this weekend and it's NOT to be missed! I wandered about during the bloggers preview and there are so many great items from the participating creators I could blog for weeks the items that I found there. I am starting with this MIAMAI dress created for the event called Lyssa, it comes with a skin, makeup and the fabulous dress, talk about a total look! I added one of the AMACCI hairs that were created for the event, this one is called "Bloom" and I know I will be using it again, love it. The photo you see was shot in a very cool Skybox also for the event from P&T. Seriously put this event on your to do list this weekend, there are wonderful items to add to your inventory, I am always excited to see where SL designers go with a theme and Festival of Sin does not disappoint, the quality and creativity that has been put into this event by everyone involved is worth your time and lindens! Be My Valentine

I received the VERO MODERO Cigdem set in red the other day and had a moment of feeling overwhelmed with the color red but it IS February and that is the month of Valentines and there is red everywhere so I thought I would put it on and see where it lead me. So thinking sexy valentine with attitude I immediately went into my shoe closet and pulled out my N-CORE Poison heels in rouge and my new MANDALA Milky Way set in red and it's not a lot of items, only three designers but I loved the look, I had to choose some hair and I didn't want to go long and flow-y so one of my go to's for hair with attitude is KMADD, the Erin hair worked great and I was ready to to not ask but tell someone to "Be My Valentine!"
