Cocktails at Sunset

What could be better than a resort vacation, spa treatments, relaxation, good food and cocktails at sunset by the beach. I picked this dress up at the latest round of Designer Circle and pulled it together with some items in my inventory. Setting off the orange of the dress with all gold and an relaxed updo hairstyle it's an easy way to dress to impress.

Coral and Turquoise

Coral and Turquoise a lovely combination. One of my favorite color schemes for summer, it's cool and colorful, and just makes me happy. Love the Baiastice Marina tops at Collabor88, I think I bought all of them! The Diram pants are really good basics and come in tons of colors. Toss on a belt, some jewelry and off I go!

Navy Blues

Feeling a little blue...Navy blue that is. I checked out Collabor88 and was not disappointed as usual and spent way too many lindens! So first on the list of things to share with you is this full body romper from fd (fashionably dead) and it's very classy. I kept things simple as I usually do and added some jewelry from Ge Wunjo, the Fri. Wayfarer sandals also at Collabor88 and a white tote from Indy & Co. The hair, a FREE gift from Lelutka and one of my new favs.

City Summer Night

I hit up the Chapter Four event today, found some really cute things, I thought the POTCHA boxy Tee and Pants were kinda cool looking, the boxiness is a little exaggerated from the back but from the front is kinda cute with the half tuck shirt. I am absolutely in LOVE with the sandals I got at Chapter Four, bought them in every color! This isn't a super complicated outfit, just casual, relaxed and nice for roaming the city in the evening.

A Weekday in the Park

Another dress I just fell in love with at the June round of Fameshed. I have always been a little addicted to anything from COCO and this dress is no exception, It is really versatile, can be dressed up or down, I chose dressed up today for a walk in the park but I may try to show you a dressed down version later. The floppy hat to shade my nose so it doesn't freckle, N-Core peep toes, lady like gloves and a clutch and I am ready to go as soon as I add my Chop Zuey statement jewelry!

I hit up Fameshed when it opened and wasn't disappointed! Picked up several things and I am going to try and get them blogged this week! Today I am going a bit bohemian with Zenith's Hippie dress. I think this is a really cute dress for summer and the Wasabi Pills hair is a just as cute. The look is simple, casual and not complicated but one I will wear often.

Feeling Dirty with an attitude, dressing the part. Just one of those days I wanted to be a little tougher. I liked the graphics an this Mesh Head Dress, kinda reflected my attitude. Of course you need some kick ass boots and the Gos Triumph boots are great, I mean I can't get around still being girly so the ribbons for laces keep me feeling like my girly self. Some red lipstick, a black manicure and my Truth Electra Hair and I am ready to kick some ass!

A Little Kate

Went shopping today in RL at a Kate Spade sell and was inspired to create a little Kate here in SL. I love her classic style and fun colors. Here’s to you Kate, thanks for making summer a bit brighter. I really was drawn to the Nya A-line skirt and the Mon Tissu eyelet top is a summer staple. I added the COCO cardigan for a bit more color and no preppy girl will be without one of her many watches to make sure she is on time and not always pulling out that cell phone to check what time it is. The jewelry is from waaaayyy back in my early days of SL and is simple and cute, and sometimes that is good enough and the Miam Miam items are like 10L on the marketplace. Some of you "old timers" will remember these pieces! The Gos espadrilles always a summer favorite and the classic/vintage hair by Lelutka just a nice neat style for a Kate girl.

Ice Cream Casual

Day three of summer break and my third outfit, now I suspect I can’t keep this up daily all summer but I would like to stay pretty regular in my fashion blog postings. Today is a casual day, I tend to dress my avi how I dress in RL or would if I had the budget my avi has translated in to RL! When I am casual and running around I keep things super simple and comfy. The cardigan/shirt combo is a lot of fun, and by getting the shirt hud I am able to change the look with several options. You can pretty much never go wrong with anything from Maitreya and the cropped pants are no exception, they are made well, nice details and fit where they should. I have had the UBU Porn Star Low Tops forever and I love the ability to customize them to my hearts content and honestly they will give even the newest products out there a run for their craftsmanship money, I will love these for a long time. The cute and casual updo from Truth is a nice addition to ones hairstyle selections as it can be dressed up or down depending on your outfit. All in all, this is a pretty simple look but a nice one for a little trip to visit the neighborhood ice cream vendor.

Tropical Nights

Day two of summer break, I am on a roll, two posts in two days! I popped into the FashionArt event, picked up a few things but my favorite was this gown from Snowpaws. I love the vintage feel to this gown, the lightness of the chiffon ruffles and the bright color. I know my last post included Lazuri jewelry and you'd think I was a spokes person for Lazuri, but it's kinda of my go to when I can't find fancy jewels at Chop Zuey. Plus I LOVE all the choices in my Lazuri jewels, changing colors and combinations make me so very happy. I know I can get the perfect match for an outfit. The hair is from Amacci, I use to shop there a lot then of course I get distracted by other designers but when I go into the Amacci shop I always find something I like, I will start checking in more frequently for my hair needs! I love this look for a formal summer event. FashionArt closes soon so if you haven't been head over and shop to your hearts content.

Cafe Day

School is out for the summer and I have more free time so I thought I would get back to blogging now that I can manage it time wise. First post for the summer is from my visit to Cheeky Tiramisu Cafe where I perused the baked goods and ordered cafe au lait. I really like this outfit, elegant but not too dressy for a day of shopping or sipping a drink on the patio. The dress comes in several color combinations and I like it enough I may have to head back and get another! Lucia at Swallow, so very very nice, I purchased the sunglasses and had a problem and she helped me out right away and was so very kind to share the clutch and earring with me, so I want to say here also thank you to her. Good service makes for a committed customer and I am definitely one! Thank you Lucia! I was able to find shoes at JD and I have to say I am very happy with them and the feet, I own most every pair of feet created and these are up there with my favorites! Lazuri necklace and bracelets, well you can't really go wrong with anything from Luzari and I love my Truth side ponytail for classy casual.
