Hi all, a quick post as I am still very busy in RL with an ill family member but I wanted to get this post in because I really liked the shoes and dress from the Kustom9 event. The Gali by soy. dress is super modern and simple but still offers a lot of minimalist style. It doesn't call for overdone jewelry or hair and the Gali by soy. sunglasses pair beautifully with it. The shoes are AMAZING from Glamistry and so very cool with an spear like heel and platform that will have all eyes on your sexy legs and feet. The shoes as with most Glamistry shoes have a multitude of color combination choices when you buy all the colors. Here I have them in all white to compliment this ensemble but I promise you the color choices/combinations are many and all look fabulous! These shoes pretty much say feminine and fierce! Color Me Turquoise

The turquoise theme of Color Me Project is going on and this dress from Sofie's Selection, I am hooked on. I am going to be cautious here because I was recently told by a designer that I should not be offering opinions or viewpoints that are my own or relevant to only me, that I should remain neutral and/or positive in all the things I blog. I think this kind of defeats what a blog is, but please be assured anything I do blog it's because I LIKE it and I LIKE this dress a lot. it's sexy with it's cut out sides and slit at the leg, low cut and the hood makes me feel a little mysterious. The low cut allows for adding a statement necklace and it's wide enough in the hood that earrings can be worn as well, that's a win/win! The hud that comes with the dress gives you choices of patterns all keeping with the turquoise theme and the very cool shoes are from this round of Color Me Project and were created by Sky. The shoes have some great details and are  made for Slink Feet or TMP feet. I really hope more designers will start creating for my Maitreya feet as well so I don't have to keep switching feet back and forth, the shoes however were worth the trouble. A quick note on the eye makeup, 90% of the time when I add a eye makeup layer to my outfits it is from Elymode, the reason why is because I love the options the choice of colors and style, and that she creates not only the over the top stuff but basic cat liner is colors that don't overwhelm and just accent, I get to keep looking like me with the addition of some color, YAY! Looking for the Light

I popped into Kustom9 today, despite not having a lot of time in SL with school wrapping up I wanted to take the time to blog this outfit. If you follow my blog at all you probably already know I am not big into over done outfits and am pretty minimalistic when it comes to what I wear. Don't get me wrong I want to look nice and pulled together I just tend to keep it clean and simple. I also tend to do A LOT of black so when spring finally arrives I have to fight the urge to stay in the black and look for the light. This DROP outfit is lovely, well made a an adorable bow on the back of the pants without looking too cutesy. I kept it all in ivory and paired some stunning shoes from Glamistry with the pants and top. These shoes are not done near the justice they deserve in this photo, they come with a hud that lets you customize the metals. the shoes are leather with snakeskin accents that can be color changed as well depending on how many colors you purchase. I am just gonna tell you right now, get the fat pack, you will be glad you did. I kept them all beige here but I had a hard time not accenting with the black on the snakeskin. These are some awesome shoes. The necklace and bracelet are from Mandala and the hair is new from Lamb at Collabor88.

Color Me Silver!

I am loving the silver round of the Color Me Project! Such cuteness abounds! The VG shoes this round are just fabulous, three exclusive style to CMP, and these Monaco flats are precious! I paired them with #187# glitter pants and the Orsini Red Boho blouse both at CMP. You really need to just stop reading and tp there, I will wait.....back? OK. Lots of goodies I hope you now have tons of great silver items. Now for the rest of this look, Mandala Polly jewelry, Catwa Anna pony tail and a sexy little pose on a pose cube from LostAngel Industries. I think I need to find a party somewhere to go to! A Hint of Paris

Exciting Sunday when two events open up for my shopping addiction! Liaison Collaborative and Kustom9 both opened their doors today and I got my wallet out and went to town, I will try to blog some more of the stuff I got this week, but forgive me if I am slow, RL is about to get crazy busy! For this outfit I am wearing some pieces from both the Liaison Collaborative and Kustom9. The "Paris" crop top (Liaison Collaborative) is a cute little tee with a lace overlay, the skirt, boots and rings are all from the Kustom9 event and are some of my new favorite purchases. I love the gemstone decoration on the boots that dresses them up for a more fashionable statement. I used my Maitreya mesh body for this, the stockings are an applier and the jewelry is from Mandala. The bow on my Lala hair from Truth added just the right touch for me and I ended up faving this outfit in my inventory!

Waiting for Inspiration

Blogging is a lot of fun, I love putting outfits together, trying styles, especially when it's something I want to try in RL but don't want to spend the money on until I know I would really like it, Many times my SL outfits get recreated in RL and vice versa. I am an artist in RL so my SL home has a studio in it as well because if makes me feel at home and brings a little piece of me into SL. Sitting in it waiting for inspiration or for someone to come home is comforting, relaxing. It's my safe place. We all need a safe place where we can just let everything go and just be, just sit and let the stresses fade and the inspirations come. To do this is comfort is key, This outfit is so comfortable just easy and relaxed. Cardigan, tee, denim shorts, a scarf because it's still a little nippy, broken in boots, ponytail in case the inspiration hits and I get to work, So my advice to anyone is RL or SL make sure you have a place that is your safety zone, where you always feel at ease and can regroup, become inspired or just plain relax.

London Calling and (A Sneaky Peek)

Today I was kinda lazy, Spent way to many Lindens at Collabor88 and The Arcade and stayed up all night last night decorating a new house knowing full well I was going to lose an hours sleep to Daylight Savings Time. So while what I feel like blogging is sweats and barefeet I did manage to pull myself together and style a simple and elegant outfit with some of the items I found at Collabor88 and the highlight of the day that I can mention here, NEW SKIN PREVIEW! Tuli dropped her newest creation on me, Neve which will be released at the Skin Fair 2015. It's a lovely skin, I kinda liked looking at myself naked in it! Neve comes in 7 tones, each with cleavage options,  Slink and Maitreya Appliers, four eyebrow colors, five eye make-up tattoos, ten lipstick tattoos, bonus teeth tattoos and bonus Neve shape! Tuli is really  spoiling us!

My outift comes partially from Collabor88. The Tres Blah red pencil skirt, the Milk Motion trench, as well as the Hucci shoes and Tableau Vivant hair. This outfit is so all about looking for an apartment in London, I wanted to add a little edge to it so I added the studded ring from Swallow and studded belt with Mandala's Chunkeeey necklace. I shot in in Apple Fall's London Apartment Skybox. So there you have it, quick, simple, elegant girl about town.

More Uber Goodness

The Uber goodness just keeps on coming! Today it's all about my SEUL fringe skirt. I grabbed it at Uber and to be honest I had a whole other idea on styling it with boots and a white blouse and some boho jewelry but I was going through my inventory and found this fur poncho by IAF and I went with it. The hair is from Lelutka one of the newer releases called Aaliyah it uses their new color hud which I am liking but I do kinda miss all my hair bases not just automatically matching, maybe there have new bases and I just haven't grabbed them yet. I went with a root fade from the hud and it had sort of a Khloe Kardashian feel to it. I could see her in the short tight fringe skirt and fur poncho. The shoes are another fav of mine from Uber by Just Designs. FYI READ THE ENCLOSED NOTECARD! This pair of shoes comes with socks also and you have to read the notecard what socks to wear with what shoes if you want to know which ones will work with your mesh body. For instance if you need the Maitreya socks you have to wear the Belleza shoes. Once I had that all sorted out though was loving them! The bench and rug from Junk is also at Uber as well as the wall art from Tarte. I don't know if I will blog much more from Uber, I still have a ton of things I haven't yet but we will see how it goes, Snow days have allowed me a little more blogging fun this week than I normally get! :-)

Shiny Shabby

I stopped into the Shiny Shabby event today and was really pleased with some of the items offered. I love they style and comfort of the "shabby chic" look of things and the sweetness of the fashion that fits into the style. I grabbed a whole lot more than what is pictured here and the items you are only getting a glimpse of has some wonderful pieces that go with it. The N4RS lamp, well it goes with a a whole amazing set, chair, rug, stool, painting, Huge bang for your buck (in the material sense;-). The little vase of flowers is from a decorating set by 22769 (bauwerk) that has some amazing stuff in it most notably for me some cool paper wings that are for hanging on the wall but I am gonna try to wear at some point. The table from Reverie was a gatcha item at the event and the chair with TONS of fabric options is from Apt. B.

Home wise, Shiny Shabby is a win and fashion wise it's pretty good too! My whole outfit is from the event, the Glam Affair skin, Tableau Vivant hair, Zenith dress, JD boots (you can't see but trust me are fab!) ieQED rings and Mandala Jewelry set all were purchased at the event. Cold Winter Day

So I am sitting here at home watching a very cold rain; it was suppose to have been snow but alas no such luck. I know some of you are sick of snow and winter but for those of us who rarely see the white stuff the thought of a snowy day is as exciting as hearing those magical words..."School is closed for a snow day". It is very cold though and I am keeping warm snuggled up in a favorite sweater and this dress from Zenith (available at Kustom9) reminds me of it, the dress version of it anyway. I thought this was such a nice dress, the texture is fabulous, not blurry at all which happens with a lot of knit textures. I kept it simple pairing it with my Maitrerya Devi boots in brown, Exxess Jagoda hair and Mandala Milky Way choker in brown. I was able to wear the dress with my Maitreya Lara body which always makes me a happy camper. Kustom9 is open and they has some really cute things I will try and get to blogging this week. Maybe if I can get another "cold rain day" off.

Cocktails at Sunset

What could be better than a resort vacation, spa treatments, relaxation, good food and cocktails at sunset by the beach. I picked this dress up at the latest round of Designer Circle and pulled it together with some items in my inventory. Setting off the orange of the dress with all gold and an relaxed updo hairstyle it's an easy way to dress to impress.

Dirty Girl

Feeling Dirty with an attitude, dressing the part. Just one of those days I wanted to be a little tougher. I liked the graphics an this Mesh Head Dress, kinda reflected my attitude. Of course you need some kick ass boots and the Gos Triumph boots are great, I mean I can't get around still being girly so the ribbons for laces keep me feeling like my girly self. Some red lipstick, a black manicure and my Truth Electra Hair and I am ready to kick some ass!
