OK so I am not a over the top, candy and flowers kind of Valentine girl. It doesn't mean I don't appreciate being reminded how much someone cares about me, it just means I don't need a day set aside for it and cliche'd gifts of romance reigning down on me. So my Valentine outfit, not your typical romantic fare but hey there is a heart involved. I am drawn to anything black and it is the most prevalent color in my wardrobe. This outfit I had been playing around with and wear it often, so it dawned on me to actually blog it, so here it is, black and hearts, now I am off to work on something special for someone I care deeply for, see I am not completely hard hearted! ;-)

LE.LOOK! January Style Challenge

Seems like lately I have been doing a lot of photographing others for contests and decided to take a few moments to do my own. This is for the LE.LOOK style challenge. The point of the challenge is to visit the LE.LOOK shopping sim and put together an outfit with items from the shops there. I wandered about and found myself in LADIES WHO LUNCH and the tuxedo jumpsuit was a great base to build on, darted next door to NEMESIS and found the skirt, and IZZIE's had my socks, I was well on my way, not wanting to go all black LEEZU! had the Arabesque shirt in black and white that I could use as a jacket, a quick trip through the accessories and hair and I had my ZAARA bobble ring, SIGMA necklace, MAITREYA hair and then on to NX-NARDCOTIX for shoes and the final touch, AL VULO! for a skin, I love the look, lets hope the judges do too!

Red Love

So you would think I would be looking at casual fashions now that we have overloaded on holiday dresses but don't forget dear readers that Valentines Day is fast approaching! Now some of you may be going glowing at the thought, others may be groaning with the thought and some might be indifferent to this holiday of love and romance. I personally try to look at it as a time to not go all out crazy smothering some you love but I do think it's a nice time to reflect on how much you value all the people in your life that you care about, and sure do something a little extra for the one you love, doesn't have to be much, take a little extra time, be a little extra attentive, just let them know they are loved. So what's a girl to wear? Well if your Valentines is going to be fancy and some time out spinning around the dance floor, this gown from VERO MODERO may be just the ticket to a glamorous romantic night...well until the gown comes off anyway but that's another post altogether I better start some lingerie shopping for that one! So what did I choose? A lovely FREE gown courtesy of PURPLEMOON. The Ice Princess Gown is the Christmas group gift and it's lovely with the lace bolero, satin dress and an embellished that is not overly done so that you feel like you are wearing a large piece of horticulture on your chest. I added CHOP ZUEY Le Bolshevik necklace and earrings in white, created a nice updo with BAIASTICE Sami hair in red and I am ready for a romantic New Years Eve!

So I am still thinking about what to wear for New Years Eve, and since purple is my favorite color I had to try something in that palette. This is Glam China from ORAGE CREATIONS. It's such a detailed dress I really didn't need to add much to it other than shoes from N-CORE called Poison in violet, DAHLINK Gate earrings in purple and a bubbly glass of champagne. I may have one more dress to look at before finally deciding but the shopping is so much fun who knows how many I could end up with before settling!

Winter Walk in Central Park

I had the good timing to be in New York last year during the snow storm that left central park blanketed in the white stuff. The park was beautifully clean and white with the new fallen snow when I stepped out of my hotel to take a walk. I have recreated that moment here with VERO MODERO's Peri set, and to keep extra toasty added additional items from CELOE and MON TISSU along with my earrings from CHOP ZUEY. I hope we get some snow here soon!

Fashion Teller Contest

I did this shot to enter the Fashion Teller Contest the theme "Crime Noir". High fashion meets film noir. I used my VERO MODERO Nisrene Metro Jacket paired it with the MON TISSU partial mesh pencil skirt, the shoes are ARMONY Suede Pumps and topped it off with [AL] Mystery Elegant Over-sized Hat. The revolver I bought under the table, with the serial numbers filed off as to be untraceable, and of course I am wearing gloves MIAMAI prim gloves to be precise as to not leave any fingerprints. I think I am ready to waltz into any handsome detective's office and plead for assistance, we all know I am innocent.

Vero Modero has come out with their Winter 2011 Line and I am soooo excited! I will be posting several outfits from this collection but to open with, I chose Okul. I love this skirt and top, the contrast of the white collart piped in black and the pop of red in the buttons keeps this from being just another black ensemble. I added another pop of red on my lips and clutch and I am ready to turn heads. Oh and the shoes, amazing! Love the sculptural look and the flash of red on the soles. I will be wearing this outfit a lot!

It's the weekend and I had the urge to do a pic and I seem to be on sort of a retro kick at the moment. So I pulled out this dress from salt. called understated beige vintage chiffon lawn dress, It is a really lovely dress for 150L and just like the name it is understated but very sweet and pretty with a lovely heart created by the neckline of the dress and caplet. Because of the neckline I left off a necklace as to not distract from simple beauty of it. The hair is fri.day and it's called Marie and the shoes are Maitreya Slinky Stilettos in Nude. Overall nothing extravagant here just sweet and simple and in my opinion a very lovely outfit.

I am a closet groupie, they say that admitting it is the first step in getting help. When I first logged into SL I was overwhelmed and very confused by it all, but being an extremely shy person in RL I forced myself to emerge myself in all things SL. One of my first experiments was the "modeling contest". I joined the JCNY group and of course misguidedly thought ok my avi is not too bad, why not? The smartest thing I did in this was look at the "official photographers" lookbook. I was omg! She can make me look beautiful! She being Elysium Eilde. I contacted her and she agreed to take some pics for me, first off the girl has skills cause she made my lil newb avi look good! The thing that made me a closet groupie was not only the fact she is amazingly talented but nice! We chatted of course during the pics, had some common interests and Ely gave me some skin tips (Tuli, omg! I love her!) for which I will be eternally grateful. Whenever I would run into her, Ely would offer a "hello" and "how's it going?" Do not tell her, but back then whenever she acknowledged me it was like "OMG! She just spoke to me in public! How cool is that!" ok I still think that, but please don't tell anyone. The thing is all this groupieness I had and still do, is because her talent still blows me away, also became a friendship that has lasted through a lot of ups and downs. My shyness keeps me from being in the mix of all things SL but there are a few people in SL that should they ever need me, all they have to do is IM, email, send up a flare and I am there. We don't have to "chat" non stop, sometimes we don't even speak for weeks, we take off from SL for some RL craziness, we keep tabs on each other, check on each other occasionally and if we ever need help hiding a body we are gonna be there when called. Ely is like that for me. So why the long history? Well I sort of took a sabbatical from SL and about the time I was headed out Ely started creating her Elymode line. The Elymode line is a real treat and about to celebrate it's One year anniversary! Trying not to sound too groupie-ish, but as a fashion obsessed soul, I have to say, I really, really love her creations! They are cute and sexy and fun and make me feel good when I wear them. I am modeling the new group gift coming out next week, and comes in a purple, blue and the green I am wearing. I think if you go and check out her shop you will be a fan too. Now I have to go and try to regain my coolness, and stop gushing like the groupie that I am.

Floating on a Cloud of Pink

This is one of those gowns that once on you feel like a princess and everything changes, your posture, the way you move, how you hold yourself. I love this gown. It's so elegant, and texturally interesting, the color is said to be pink but I would call it more of a blush that leans to peachy pink. I know this pic doesn't highlight the front of the gown and if I wasn't so tired from this week I would have done a front shot too but well I got carried away working on this photo and now I really need some rest, but trust me, it's a beautiful gown and one of my new favorites.

This is a quick post on a gown I bought last night. I fell in love with this as soon as I got the notice from my BOSL magazine readers group and rushed to My Precious by Agnes Finney to purchase it. If you join the VIP group you get a discount on the gown to boot! This is so "my style" and it's really a beautiful gown. The lace top and ribbon accent is just gorgeous. I am only showing one version, because...drum roll please....It comes in different versions all in one package! There is the short pencil skirt, long column skirt, with train and without, the top has an optional ruffle bottom and you can mix and match as you choose. I love versitility! I decided to give it a shot, I went for a dressed up version. First stop was Miel for the group gift a really cute hair with a scripted head band that has multiple colors, a bonus for those on a shoestring budget as it will go with more than one outfit. Next stop skin, I wanted a good quality skin, and lucky for me ORTA's group gift of a lovely dress and accessories that we have seen on the feed lately comes with a wonderful Lelutka skin. ICING has always got really sweet dresses for those on a tight budget, there are usually three available and all are free and pretty. (If you are keeping track I have 4 dresses at this point, one complete with accessories) I wanted to create a more cocktail version so I headed to COCO who has several group gifts and picked up the ruffle lace skirt, this worked great to make my look more of a cocktail version. Shoes were easy, Maitreya's group gift for subscribing is 15 pairs of colorful pumps! Jewelry, JCNY has a Newb gift bag with earrings (please be sure to turn off the bling!). In my searching there are many many quality creators that offer gifts you just have to search them out. If you don't have the lindens to purchase the look you want, you don't have to beg for lindens, find a person who's look you like and just ask, who are their favorite creators and does that creator offer free or group gifts, most will be happy to share the information. One last thing, Dove Swanson of LAP offers a free AO for newbies so you can lose that awkward walk! All in all I am happy with my finds and fear not, you can look great on a shoestring budget!

So I quickly opened up the bag it came in after wearing it which is nice since I don't have ANY prims left at home to be opening things and I was all set! I think I may need it in more colors! Definitely a new fav!

Lelutka Summer Part II

Second Lelutka installment, and I am sticking with the black and white but this time I put together a retro look using Lelutka's new Nadia dress. The empire waistline reminds me of the 60's and the necklace all I can say is "OH WOW!" the new scripted jewelry at Lelutka makes me sooo very happy! The color choices and combinations are really great, I ran out of time before I ran out of color combinations. For this look of course black and white is what I needed, but trust me, there is so much more that can be done with this necklace and the rest of the new collection. One warning, the men's and women's jewelry is together and clearly marked but don't think you can mod a mans necklace to a size to fit you ladies, it won't work. I was very disappointed as I would so steal some of the men's for myself if I could make it work. If anyone knows how give me a shout. OK, back to the outfit: dress, necklace, earrings and cocktail ring, classic pumps and the hair, I love this hair too, the top piece is from booN and the hair is Maitreya (I had to mod it for this but it's not a hard modify, just don't forget to make a copy!) The total look is a retro cocktail look and personally I think cute and fun and I am looking through notecards to find a party to wear this to!

So you all know Lelutka summer releases are out and I like everyone else had to go and check it out. There are some really great things and I picked up a few items that I will end up blogging in the next few days, (one will be some of the jewelry, YAY for customization!) One thing you should know about me is I LOVE LOVE LOVE black. It will be the first color i buy in most anything. It's just classic and I love it. I try very hard to buy other colors too but it's my tried and true fall back habit. So the first thing I have to share is of course black. I saw these IBIS pants and immediately fell in love! The flowers on the waist, the stripes, the skinny fit *sighs*. What to wear with them, need shoes, and well thankfully the new Letluka St. Tropez slingbacks are perf! I tp'd over to Niniko when i saw a cute top one of my fellow bloggers had written about and wandered around and while I bought the top, I knew I had to get this outfit! I was not really in a work out mood, I was in what I call a "slump day". Nothing appealed to me more than just curling up in comfy sweats, pulling my hair up and being a hermit for the whole day. So my avi ended up doing just that too. This of course would be a great work out outfit too and once I am feeling motivated again it may become that, but for now it's the "I need some Ben&Jerry's a good book and time to just veg" outfit. I have been MIA for a little bit. Busy with beta preview testing of a soon to be released MMORPG and well I have neglected SL for a bit. My apologies to my SL friends! A quick post though for this week, I saw this cute outfit at GothiCatz and couldn't resist! It of course screamed wear cowboy boots! Peachy Pinks and Cream

Once again I have bought an accessory I loved and had to create an outfit to work with it! My challenge this time was this Paper Couture necklace, I really loved it and had no idea what to put with it. So the challenge began! First thing I found were the pants from Lelutka, when it came to trying to figure out who would have the right pastel pant I needed, this was a no brainer, the top was more challenging because I didn't want just a plain blouse I wanted something that would be wow without taking away from the beauty of the necklace and I found what I wanted in this dress from Elate. Shoes, jewelry and a clutch were next. Shoes not too hard Maitreya had pumps in dozens of colors the rest of the jewelry was MUCH HARDER, not white pearls, not really a true pink and I finally found what I needed at Earthstones and Caroline's after many searches around the grid! The clutch I found at Beauty Avatar and let me tell you folks finding things made in ivory or pastels that don't scream baby boy or baby girl is not easy! I needed a sophisticated hair for this look. I wanted sexy classy, so off to Kmadd for the Thalia hair and I am ready for drinks and some social time out with Neko :-)

A Word About Customer Service

Here's the deal, you will not find me "complaining" about people, creators, little children or small animals in my blog, it's just not me. I won't be "promoting" someone just because they paid me or gave me something. I like something I blog it, pretty simple no matter if it was a purchase or gift. One thing I will do is if I find something or someone that goes above and beyond, I am going to mention it here. Good customer service is worth talking about! When shopping for my blog the other day I had not wanted to tp to the shop so I purchased some DeLa earrings on xstreetsl, unfortunately SL was being wonky and did not deliver them so I repurchased and of course when I re logged the "lost" ones showed up. I did not send an IM or notecard to anyone as well things like that happen sometimes, such is life. I logged this morning to find a short notecard from DeLa creator Kuranosuke Kamachi whom I have never met or spoken with before and it stated that she noticed I had double purchased the earrings and refunded me the price of the second pair. Now I know we all make stupid mistakes when purchasing things and if it's our own fault for not reading vendor info or something like that then we haven't any right to have a creator make it right for us. If you screw up you, screw up, be an adult and take responsibility for it. It was not my fault SL had messed up the purchase for me but it was not hers either, so I was not going to complain to her, SL was the one that messed it up. To me, getting a personal note and refund was above and beyond what I expected or have experienced in SL shopping and while I was a loyal customer already I am now a die hard fan! YAY customer service in any industry, virtual or not!!!

Elegant Old Favorites

Today I am posting on old favorite of mine, I just adore this gown from Nyla Cheeky. I know we as bloggers are all about the newest/latest but I think we should not forget those beautiful creations in the back of our vast closets and pull them out once in awhile. There have been many times I have been to an event (ok I am very shy and a bit of a hermit so I don't get out much in SL but occasionally I do) and rather than rush to find a new great gown I pull out one from the depths of my closet because odds are someone else is going to be wearing the "latest" but rarely does anyone look to the classics and on those times I do, it never fails, no one "matches". The key to not looking out of place when doing this is make sure the outfit you choose has the quality and craftsmanship of anything else out there currently. This dress does, I love the skirt on this dress it's lush, full and the train beautiful. The corseted top is detailed and well made. Staying true to the classics in SL I add Muse Pearls and ETD hair and I am ready for most any elegant event!

Shopping Day

Well it all starts with wanting a cute outfit for this top that I had in my inventory for a while now. I found the shorts in my inventory and was like YAY! off to a great start and then hit a roadblock with shoes. I went through my inventory and tried on all my sandals and flats and nothing worked, then I recalled these from Maitreya, so I rushed over picked them up and viola! Perfection! Now jewelry after a preliminary search of xstreetsl I am hooked up with bangles and earrings. I complain to Neko I need hair and thanks to him for pointing out the hair creator, sorry I got the same one as you babe ;p. I grabbed a purse because this was a heavy shopping day and needed something to carry around my linden clothing allowance of, throw on some sunglasses because it's a sunny day here and I am ready to shop til I drop! I love this hair and the fact it is FREE is a bonus! Sure it's suppose to be guy hair but if it works then why not! I have tons of "guy" things in my inventory that work great for us girls too. Stay alert and open minded and you will find a treasure of two in the men's department ladies! Now if I could only find something to go with those shoes I have had forever...

Sailing

I got a notice that Zaara had a new release, chinos for guys and girls. I tp'd over and was not disappointed. Several colors, cute rolled cuffs and a nice fit. They reminded me of growing up on the lake and sailing whenever I had a chance. Of course in SL you can pretty much do anything you would do in RL so with a quick search I found some sailboats and just needed to complete my outfit. I admit it's a preppy look but preppy can be cute! I love the layered polo and the simple necklace. I think I need to pack a picnic too, maybe some PB&J... Anyone care to join me?

Little Black Rain Cloud

I didn't post this past week due to the fact I was out of town diligently working at a conference and for the flight back home spent 3 hours on the tarmac waiting for a little black rain cloud to pass so that the pilot could take off! So today I am tired, and haven't had enough sleep and the little cloud's color has invaded my wardrobe. In honor of gray and black rain clouds I am taking an excerpt from Dr. Suess's book "My Many Colored Days" which goes something like this:

"Some days are yellow."

"Some are blue.""

"On different days I'm different too."

"You'd be surprised how many ways I change on Different Colored Days...."

"Gray Day... Everything is gray.I watch. But nothing moves today." (like airplanes ;p)

Maybe tomorrow I will feel green, or yellow or blue, but for now gray (and black) will have to do.

Classic Composure

I got a note card about Beauty Avatar Couture's new releases and of course I tp'd over there. I wasn't disappointed as there were many things I really loved, but I had this blouse from Argrace's new releases and when I saw these pants I knew I wanted them to go with the blouse. I am bad about that, I buy things with nothing to match but I know somewhere, out there, I am going to find exactly what I want to go with it! I usually end up doing this with shoes in RL becaues I am such a shoe fanatic in RL (I mean have you ever put on a pair of shoes and thought to yourself "these make me look fat, or hippy or fill in the blank with whatever negative thing we think when trying on clothes") but in SL it's usually a piece of clothing I end up searching for the perfect thing to complete to create an outfit. Speaking of shoes, these are prim toed so you can match your skin and change the nail polish as you need, gotta love that for variety, and well I am addicted to anything scripted, I just love scripts about as much as I love prims! This is a totally classic look and with the Paper Couture necklace and earrings, it just cements the whole traditional look. The blouse comes with a scarf tied for the neck and if I wore it with this I could have a whole 70's vibe to this look. I kind feel like this leans to that time, maybe I could be the hot neighbor on "That 70's Show" nah, I am more the Mom type ;p

Anyway, it simple, it's classic and a nice little outfit for shopping or meeting some business acquaintances.

Nature Girl

Don't let the title fool you, my idea of roughing it is a hotel without room service, but I do like to be outdoors on a beautiful day and of course want to look as cute as possible at the same time. This is my version of a relaxing day outside, not really doing anything except maybe carried a book along, stopped for a latte and spending some quality time reading and sipping. The colors are natural and neutral, but the pattern in the dress gives interest and the tank underneath helps make the dress less "Hey look at my bewbs!" Jeans of course, my favorite thing to wear and allows you to sit more comfortably and cute shoes! (OK Neko and I have this thing because I made the mistake of showing him shoes I have bought and well lets just say we don't always agree on what is the definition of a cute shoe, lol) But these are cute and no arguments on that one. I love the fact you have a choice of a wedge heel, or regular heel and nail polish color and toe rings! These have prim toes which to me are a bit easier to match than the whole prim foot and face it if the other guy isn't running the same settings as you the feet or toes are probably not gonna match! Grrrr! Cute wooden bracelets and a necklace I love but don't get to wear often enough and I am good to go!

Chocolate and Teal

I have favorite designers in SL just like I have favorite stores I like to shop in RL. I make no apologies for this, and what you will see me wearing in SL or in this blog is something from a designer who's work I like and will most likely see things from that designer posted more than once. I have said before this blog is pretty much just glimpses of what I wear in SL and is in my closet.

DeLa is one of those. I shop here a lot and when I got a notice of a new release I tp'd over as soon as I could. The new halter and skirt is really pretty. It comes in many colors and I love I can wear them together and separately, they are sold separately so if you only want only one piece then you don't have to pay for the whole outfit. I wore the top the next day with it's ruffle and jeans and still loved it. A rich chocolate brown and a softer color is one of my favorite combinations. I usually wear silver jewelry, probably because I prefer it in RL but for this the richness of the chocolate called for gold, a pair of gold strappy stilettos and to add that touch of color, teal and gold bracelets and gold earrings with the touch of color in the beads, pull the hair up to show off those earrings and you are ready to go out and charm the masses!

So before you look and say "WOW! Callie you've really changed your look!" this is not me or an alt. I have enlisted some help, Neko mentioned that he thinks there are not enough guy blogs, which to me says "I volunteer" and in this case he graciously did, and I appreciate it because you guys seeing me in men's clothing just doesn't have the same effect, so I am going to do my part to share some looks that Neko and/or I like that are out there.

Now, before you start rolling your eyes and saying "blah! Armidi stuff we already know about that!" lets think about it, yes we all know it's there and it IS good stuff, I think Armidi has suffered a bit in the blogging world due to popularity, you know how the media likes to build things up just to tear them down, and well it's time for them to come out with some new things, never rest on your laurels people! Let's face it though, they have some nice stuff and once in a while a reminder doesn't hurt. Anyway, I think they way the pants makes a guy's butt look is worth the Lindens. This is a cool Friday work outfit, more casual friday, no suit but still looking pulled together, you can choose tie or not. I really love this look, it goes from work to a date easily and keeps a little of the edge of the bad boy with the rebelliousness of piercings and tennis shoes for work. I think if he walks out the door like this I am going to be counting the minutes until he is coming back in that door because I will want more time with this look ;-)

All Business

Sometimes a girl has to work, there is no way around it, the bills have to get paid. Hopefully you have one of those jobs you look forward to getting up and going to most of the time. When it's time to get serious and get the job done you need to look the part. This is a really simple outfit and when working you don't need the distractions of multiple accessories, because lets face it, unless you are a model it's about the work not about you. Of course you want to look good but flashy and showy and "Hey! Look at my outfit!" is not what work is about. You want more of "She gets the job done and she always looks really pulled together." So here is my version of serious office attire for SL, still feminine and attractive but not Vegas cocktail waitress in the office, (admit it you know you have seen them, dressed for a night in Vegas rather than the office but show up for work anyway). Simple crisp white shirt, Black pencil skirt with a little extra oomph of suspenders, pearls and sexy black pumps, (not stripper high, but enough to make em go, she has nice legs). Serious glasses and pulled back hair and you are ready to tackle any office crisis that comes your way!

Shabby Chic

I am a girly girl at heart and every once in a while I just get in the mood to wear something pretty and soft and sort of snuggly. This outfit is kind of just that, a soft cardigan sweater in a pale bluish green and accessories in a lemony yellow. The cardigan is closed at the collar with a jeweled button and hangs open to reveal a cute illustrated tank that I have had in my inventory forever, boyfriend jeans and comfy flats make this a nice outfit for running around SL and for relaxing with Neko should we decide to have a lazy day. I like the casualness of it and the broken in feel to it, the pulling on your favorite old pair of jeans and worn sweater over a fun tank, shows you don't have to try hard to be cute and comfortable. Slip your feet into an easy pair of flats and you are ready to go or not should you decide to be lazy today.

So I have become addicted to Looklet.com and it's really cool, one thing I have noticed that once I create an outfit there I want to immediately run to SL and see if I can recreate it inworld. Today I created a dress up/down look. This is one of my favorites, the jeans and mini dress, toss on a basic black jacket and sexy stilettos and ruby necklace to continue the theme of red. I am madly in love with the hair and will have a hard time changing it! This outfit just screams sexy/cool to me.

Tequila!

Today I am teasing you with more of Tuli's newest skin-Hope. Today's makeup is "Tequila" and of course now I can't get the song out of my head, lol. I love the colors in the eye makeup here and the lip color I love because it compliments without taking away from the eye color. I did play with lighting and retouched minimally for the quirks that SL does to photos, but other than that what you see is what you get. It's fab fab fab skin! Thank you Tuli for the sneak peek! I will post more pics of the other makeups that are just as awesome as the two I have already shared soon! :-)

Sassy

Today I am feeling a bit sassy and chose to dress the part. Those who know me know I am not hardcore anything and it's usually laughable if I try to be tough as nails, it's just not me. I do however sometimes like dressing a bit sassy and flirty just to step outside the box of my normal "nice girl" persona. This outfit is not all that hardcore and it's pretty mainstream by SL standards but I do like it has a little attitude, the top comes in a sheer option also. The skirt I love it's short and has a very lowrise and well WWI plainly has sexy things, I know because Neko loves when I shop there, lol! The Scribble socks are one of my fav accessories and the Maitreya boots are old standards but a good shoe is a good shoe and worth having in your inventory. Short sassy hair from Teketeku another of my favs and a simple necklace and bracelet round out the look. Now if Neko would just log then I could practice my flirting! ;-)

In a previous post I mentioned how much I love Tuli's new skin called Hope. Not that I need more reason to love this skin but rumor is there will be lots of make up choices and I got a sneak peek at a few and all I can say is WOW! I won't give it all away as these are Tuli's skins and I don't want to take advantage of her letting me sneak a peek but they are so drop dead gorgeous I have to share at least one, so I have chosen "Sultry" and boy is it! This one is gonna make the boys drool ladies! You will be fighting them off with a stick wearing this one! Seriously, Tuli's talent can not be questioned and she has given us a masterpiece as far as I am concerned. Play Clothes

So how many of you are like me and remember your mom telling you to change out of your nice clothes and put on "play clothes" before you go outside? I am sure there are some of you out there that had the distinction between what was for school or dress up and what was "play clothes".

Today I felt like wearing my "play clothes" and being outside. Just that time when you can lay in the grass and pick flowers for flower chains or play ball ,whatever it is to recapture a feeling of being carefree and nothing to worry about other than wouldn't if be great if the ice cream truck drove by too! For today's play time I chose an loose fit tank because you have to be able to move, jump and run, the shorts for climbing an occasional tree. I tie my shirt around my waist because it gets hot running all around like that and have to wear my fave broke in sneakers. OK can't hang here any longer I think I need to go stick my feet in a creek somewhere :-)

As I was scrolling through the feed this week, I noticed the **en Svale** ~ Summer Dress (Flower) and of course had to tp over there to check it out, I immediately bought it, but I picked up the navy one too,**en Svale** ~ Summer Dress (Dot). I had plans for it! I knew it could look a little too matronly if not careful so I took the top and paired it with *COCO* ankle pants in white (I am not wearing the belt and pockets). I wanted a dressed up summer feel to it and added a pair of open toe heels, Maitreya's Enchant heels in white and for the jewelry I went for the classics; Muse pearls. while I am at it I have to tell you my opinon of the skin you will see me wearing. Normally I wear Tuli's Elizabeth skin as it was made with me in mind (thank you so much Tuli!) and I have played in her other skins occasinally but Elizabeth was a "fit". Tuli just recently introduced Hope to her group and OMG! it's a "fit" for me! OK Elizabeth II is in the works but until then Hope and I will be getting along perfectly. I just love this skin and if you have not had a chance to try it, I strongly suggest you pay the $250L and join her group, the lovely, talented, gracious and very generous Tuli makes it worth every cent. The hair I am sure everyone is sick of seeing but you know we love it anyway is Maitreya's Piper II. So today my mood was a bit dressed up, tomorrow maybe not so much, but I will update as the mood hits and who knows, tomorrow I could feel a bit cyber glam, or maybe fairy-ish, or maybe just lounging in jeans and sneaks?

Friends have been telling me "you should start a blog!" so if you are sick to death of fashion bloggers or think the world would be better off without SL fashion blogging then blame my friends that there is one more to contend with, it's all their fault. I am not out to represent anything or any particuliar designer, I have my personal favs and a full closet and why not share some of the things I like, it gives me an excuse to wear some of my vast inventory. Welcome to my closet, my style and tastes, may not be your cup of tea or incrediably unique but it's me, and what you would find me wearing at anytime in the world we know as SL.
